@BIKERLAWRENCE PREPARES TO CONQUER MOTHER NATURE’S GRAVEL PLAYGROUND

GRALLOCH UNLEASHES AN EPIC GRAVEL SHOWDOWN IN THE UK! 

This wild ride is the first ever UCI Gravel World Series event in Britain to hit the scene. It’s a race where fearless riders take on the ultimate off-road challenge, conquering 113km of unruly terrain amidst the stunning hills of Galloway Forest Park.  

With top-notch gravel under the wheel, it’s a pedal-pounding adventure like no other. But that’s not all – this race is a gateway to glory, as participants battle it out in their Masters Age groups for a chance to qualify for the UCI Gravel World Championships in Italy next autumn.  

GT85: PEAK PERFORMANCE PREPARATION  

The Gralloch took Lawrence deep into the untamed hills of Galloway and Southern Ayrshire. With a whopping 1,854m of climbing that tested his mettle – this race is destined to become a legendary gravel classic, delivering pulse-pounding thrills and unrelenting bike action.  

So, before Lawrence pushed himself and his ride to the limits, he grabbed a can of GT85 and gave his bike a once-over to help him achieve peak performance in the showdown.

He shares his best kept secret: 

‘This is absolutely essential, and I wouldn’t go on an adventure like this without some. Coat your chain, cassette and jockey wheels and all those little parts with this lubricant. Not only does it lube all the parts you want to keep running smoothly but it’s also a water displacer. So, for later on, when we’re done with this event and we’ve sprayed the bikes off with a jet washer, put some of this on afterwards and it makes sure that the bike doesn’t rust and go all orange. It keeps everything running as you want it.”
