HOW TO LUBE DRILL BITS
Knowing how you lube your drill bits properly is the best kept secret to fast, efficient work. To get started on reducing friction and heat so you can enjoy smoother drilling and hardier tools – grab your drill bit lube and an old rag and roll up your sleeves.
Things you will need
Step 1

Clean the drill bit – wipe the drill bit with an old dry rag to remove dust and grime.
Step 2
STEP 2
Apply your drill bit lube and squirt it directly onto the drill bit. Give it an even coat of your favourite formula to reduce friction and stop rust in its tracks.
Step 3
STEP 3
Wipe off excess drill bit lube and store properly. Use a clean old rag to remove excess formula and store your drill bits in a dry place.
